Fridge/Freezer Guidelines

Remember these guidelines with fridges and freezers:

• When purchasing new fridges or freezers remember to check the energy efficiency rating label ie. A to G. Choose and A or B rated one because these are the most energy efficient.
• Never allow more than a ¼ thickness of ice to build up on your freezer
• Try to keep your freezer at least ¾ full at all times
• Allow cooked food to cool before putting in a fridge or freezer
